We had an interesting thing happen to us last night. At 2am our dogs all began barking like crazy. They were barking in the direction of our cars parked under the car park which also faces the wall between our property and our neighbor's property. My first thought was, "Oh no, is someone trying to steal the booster tank and pump that took us forever to get installed?" Mat went down to have a look but didn't see anything funny. We knew something had to be going on, but wondered if they were barking at something going on at the neighbor's house or an animal or something. The dogs stopped barking but about 30 minutes later began barking again facing the same direction. Mat had another look, but nothing. The dogs stopped barking for the rest of the evening. We didn't think much more of it until Mat drove to work the next morning as his hubcap just fell off! Hmmm... So we think someone jumped the wall from our neighbor's property onto our property to try to steal the tires off his car. We just put brand new tires on his car 2 months ago which also now makes me think that we are being "watched"--how could someone know we had new tires on that car unless they were really paying attention? Could our neighbors be the culprits? Could it have been our neighbor's gardener? Often times gardeners are involved in petty theft and crime. Certainly if it were just any stranger, why would they take a risk to sneak on the neighbor's property and then onto ours. Why not just go from the main road over the wall into our property? So today I'm trying to do some research about who our neighbors are and who their gardener is to see if our culprit is indeed the neighbors! It seems like I just have a sign on my head that says, "Come on, rob me!"
