This Wednesday and Thursday at the college, we had some curriculum development meetings.  We invited some local pastors to hear what they had to say about what they were looking for in a theological college in order for them to send their congregation members to it.  Upon discussion, it became evident that these churches had misinformed ideas about TCZ.  Many pastors didn’t know TCZ was up to par with what they required of their students.  Also, the pastor of the local Methodist church had 21 students he was ready to send to TCZ, but because someone from TCZ was insensitive to church politics and claimed TCZ to be better than the Methodist training school, the pastor had been turned off to TCZ.  It also became clear that Pentecostals thought TCZ was hostile to Pentecostals.  All in all, it was good to hear many of these misconceptions and to clarify misunderstandings in an effort to build bridges with these denominations.
